Best Event Registration Module?

We encourage users to post events happening in the community to the community events group on https://www.drupal.org.

Greetings everyone. Can someone who works on the great FLDRUPALCAMP site tell me the registration module used? Or otherwise advise me on event registration. We are a Florida nonprofit organization and collect donations via paypal. I need to set up registrations for our upcoming 3-day Summit in October in a manner very similar to the way the camp is done. Our website is sjr2c.org.

Thanks for any help you can offer. Missing the Brevard meetups... nothing much happening in Volusia County...

The eventbrite module is what

The eventbrite module is what we are using for Florida Drupal Camp. It's still being actively developed so use with caution but it can be found here, https://www.drupal.org/project/eventbrite_attendees.

I am looking for a D8 module for member and event registration management. Could be one module or 2 separate ones. I used Eventbrite last year... did not like it - overpriced, no nonprofit discount and no customer support. I'd rather have a module integrated with our site (sjr2c.org). Also we are starting a "friends of the Loop" membership organization. Any suggestions? As I understand it the eventbrite_attendees just lists attendees registered through eventbrite? We don't need to list attendees, but I don't like paying high fees to register. Also this is worrisome: This project is not covered by Drupal’s security advisory policy.

The way to go in Drupal 8 for event registration is the RNG module:

Ticket Tailor

Chris Matthews's picture

Our non-profit organization (https://www.zoweh.org) has really enjoyed using Ticket Tailor (https://www.tickettailor.com) for paid event registrations. They are A LOT cheaper that Eventbrite (https://www.tickettailor.com/pricing/#calculator); offer a 20% discount for non-profits (https://www.tickettailor.com/charity-ticket-sales) and as a result of COVID-19, Ticket Tailor is free for online events until the end of 2020. We simply embed their online widget into our registration pages and it takes the pain out of the partial/incomplete Drupal 8 contributed module solutions.

Nonprofit Event Management

Thanks Chris, I will check it out. It does look a lot cheaper and friendlier than some others. We've been using Guestlist.com which is maybe not so feature-rich but simple, flexible, easy to setup, totally reliable and works well for us so far. If you are interested, You might talk to jaco.joubert@guestlist.intercom-mail.com We are a nonprofit (River2SeaLoop.org) committed to active, equitable mobility, building community and supporting bikeable/walkable public places and access to natural and equitable-historical places . Jaco says that because we are "doing God's work" he has granted us a free account (we still pay paypal nfp fee) so it might be worth checking out.
