PHP and DevOps Developer in Vienna / Austria

acolono GmbH is currently looking for a Backend PHP Developer with advanced DevOps skills (m/f, for at least 30 hours a week).

As a Backend Developer, you will be playing a key role in creating technical solutions for top clients like Doctors Without Borders or WWF. You will be responsible for selecting and implementing technical solutions in an open source-minded environment and looking to enhance development and deployment processes.

Your experience

• Several years of professional experience in development of larger web applications
• Excellent understanding of object oriented development in PHP
  Solid background in UNIX/Linux operating system, webserver and security maintenance
• Experience in proper use of version control systems (e.g. GIT)
• Ideally having experience using Drupal and/or Symfony 2 applications, alternatively advanced knowledge of comparable frameworks
• Nice to have: Experience in setting up Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, and Continuous Delivery solutions
• Nice to have: Experience configuring various tools such as Docker, Ansible, Composer, Selenium, or GitLab
• Nice to have: Knowledge in current frontend technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, modern JavaScript frameworks)
• Strong interpersonal & communication skills, a positive attitude and team orientation
• Highly proficient in spoken and written English. German is a plus.
