User group meeting
This month's Portland Drupal User Group will take place at Acquia (1120 NW Couch St, Suite 630).
At this user group:
I was thinking we could have a group discussion about how people manage their configurations in Drupal 8. If Greg is there, he may have some slides on the subject he will share.
For future months, we're looking for people to give talks. They could be 5 minutes or as long as about 45 minutes. If you're interested, find me on Slack or talk to me in person tomorrow.
Our icebreaker question of the day will be "Reading any good books this summer?"
Pizza and socializing starting at 6pm followed by presentations starting at 6:30 pm.
See you there!

There was a lot of interest
There was a lot of interest in Configuration Management last month. So, I'll be giving my talk from Drupal Summit and Bad Camp on Configuration workflow.
We'll spend some time getting folks up to speed on the basics, then I'll give an update on the core config 2.0 initiative. Next, we will jump into dev/prod workflow, and follow up with a brainstorm on how to improve the workflow.
