Would a Backdrop CMS session be accepted?

klonos's picture

It's been a couple of years since I presented in DrupalSouth Gold Coast back in 2016, and was wondering if people would be interested to find out about the progress we have made in Backdrop CMS since then, and how the community has grown. I will be attending the event anyway, so I can chat in the corridors with whoever is interested, but would be thrilled to present too :)

Let me know

Yes for Backdrop CMS session

Gregory,

Backdrop CMS is part of Drupal ecosystem.
You should definitely submit Backdrop CMS talk.

Cheers,
Vladimir

Thanks for all the excellent DrupalSouth Canberra talk submissions so far! Just a gentle reminder that there's under 3 weeks to the deadline on Sunday August 26. You don't need to write your full talk in order to submit - just a short outline of what you're planning should you be selected.

A quick note on using

owenlansbury's picture

A quick note on using Papercall for submissions for DrupalSouth. Please make sure you only use the "Speak at DrupalSouth Canberra 2018" button that links to this page: https://www.papercall.io/cfps/1277/submissions/new

There's a section called "My Talks" that's visible once you've logged in, but this is just for drafts that cannot be viewed by event organisers. Unfortunately, as a SAAS platform we can't change Papercall's UX or features.

Just use this thread if you have any questions around this.

Thanks!

Just over a week to go for

Just over a week to go for DrupalSouth 2018 talk submissions - due by midnight, Sunday August 26 at https://www.papercall.io/drupalsouth-2018

You only need to submit a talk outline at this stage and selected speakers will get a complimentary event ticket and the chance to share your knowledge with 500 of your colleagues.

Even if you're not a Drupal Developer, there's plenty of tracks for you to present project case studies, UX, business and project management experience.

Hi everyone - here's the last reminder that DrupalSouth 2018 call for papers close this Sunday August 26 at midnight via https://www.papercall.io/drupalsouth-2018

You just need to complete a simple overview of your proposed talk now and then be ready to do the full talk in early December if you're selected. Speakers receive a complementary conference pass and lots of kudos from your colleagues in the Drupal community.

Get cracking!
