"Important Dates" started as a project with the Registrar’s Office (RO) at the University of Waterloo in 2016 to create an open-data feed of events. Since then the project has evolved to include the development of an interactive calendar platform within the Waterloo Content Management System (WCMS). This platform features one central and two remote push websites, hosting important dates for undergraduate and graduate students.
Eric Bremner, web developer from the University of Waterloo, will provide a demonstration and share the technical aspects of how the central and push websites function in Drupal 7 and how we are looking forward to moving this to Drupal 8.
