This month we'll hear from Rick Hawkins who will demonstrate how to manage custom modules and themes as actual dependencies within a Drupal project using standard dependency management tools, such as Composer and NPM. He'll explain how it differs from more traditional strategies and the advantages that can be gained from employing this new approach.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. I just uploaded a repo that's similar to what I showed last Wednesday. It's at https://github.com/rlhawk/drupal-demo. There isn't any documentation yet, but you can explore the code. Feel free to contact me with any questions or comments.
