I finally was able to release a development version of the PDF-IDcard module. This module allows a site to create templates that consist of a background image and User's data. This template is then rendered into a PDF file that is meant to be printed on badge printer. Currently MNN is printing their badges using a standard inkjet printer, cutting the paper and then laminating the "card".
This module could be very easily modified (or some quick code written) to create a PDF book with pages for every user account to allow for mass badge printing.

Upgraded to Drupal 5.x!

Upgraded to Drupal 5
To stay with the changing technology and the rising tide I've upgraded PDF-IDCard to work with Drupal 5 which will give it a bit longer shelf life. I also created a handbook page for it so that there is documentation with it.

Like everything it could use some improvements (both the documentation and the module) but we're all moving in the right direction. If you're sitting on the sidelines code has been released and there is no better time to get involved!

Does support still alive?
TCPDF is now version 4.0.x and upgrading to latest lib version makes pdf creation not working. More there will be a porting to D6?
