Multisites, Addon Domains and Cpanel on host account

Is there anyone with experience with setting up multisites as I am quite stuck, set up the main installation no problem, but having problems with trying to get it to work, have spent three days searching for information and and read most of the handbook entries on it and trying to keep up with all the comments to requests for help.

anyway if anyone could help me that would be great.

No experience myself but I have found video tutorials on Got Drupal really useful in the past.

as I am on a shared host, so am going to have to try and find another way but the video is quite good
