2007-01-12 18:00 - 20:00 US/Pacific I'll throw this up early so we can discuss the topic. There was some talk at the last meeting about wanting to see something on theming. If you'd find it interesting or would be willing to do a little presentation, then chime in.
We'll be at the Bus Project for the meeting and then if there's demand, we'll step across the street to Produce Row. See the Google Map for directions.
Note: I corrected the date, we meet on the 2nd Wednesday of the month, not the 1st as I'd originally posted.

I was the one who made the original request for the theming topic, so I'm still definitely interested.
Themes
If I'm able to make it, I'd like to help out. I don't do extremely difficult theming, but I do a lot of moderate level theme work for the sites I do. I've recently branched out considerably, as I use regions a lot now in my theming.
It's just a bit difficult to make the meetings sometimes, as I have a toddler and my husband works evenings.

What's the process for suggesting topics? I'd love to pick someone's brain on how organizations can best use their drupal sites...
Debugging
Another topic I would really love to address at a meeting would be debugging. I've seen a number of posts on drupal.org about debugging and how useful it is (especially stepping through code), but haven't been able to get it set up properly on my PC, so any help on getting my machine set up for debugging would be awesome.
the right date?
i think i screwed this up when i posted it... this is the first wednesday and i think we normally have the meetings on the second wednesday. should i change the date or had people planned around it already?

Reminder
Just wanted to remind everyone about the meeting tomorrow night. I guess we'll be talking about theming or using Drupal within an organization, or depending on how people feel, maybe both. As far as the theming goes I was thinking we could try to build a simple site and customize parts of it. Maybe we'll be able to drag Matt Westgate down and have him read the theme chapters from his Drupal book ;)
