Exaltation of Larks is happy to offer the Drupal community a 25% discount code towards Path Finder by Cocoatech. Path Finder is an awesome file manager that we at Exaltation of Larks find invaluable for our development work. It's a complete drop-in replacement for the Apple Finder on Mac OS X that makes the Finder look like it was made for children by Fisher-Price.
The discount code is LADRUPAL and it will work until the end of April, 2010. No one at Exaltation of Larks is getting any kickbacks from this promotion. It's purely an offer to the Drupal community to make people's work easier.
A movie is worth a thousand pictures, so here's a short screencast from Cocoatech. It demonstrates the selection tool that I showed at tonight's Drupal meetup, as well as things like the built-in terminal, Subversion support and file compression abilities.
Thanks, Cocoatech!

Pathfinder
I purchased my license! Thanks Chris - I was devastated when I did not win it at the last SB meeting :)
Curious, curiouser and most curious ...
Thank you for the post
I've been using Pathfinder as a demo off and on for years now, but have been unsure about buying it. Your plug and this discount got me to buy it.
Cocoatech should pay you a commission for getting us fence sitters to buy : )
...
This must be kismet - I just started checking out path finder today, based on an article I saw on news.ycombinator.com; installed it, loved it, and then started googling for a discount - and whamo this article posted here by someone I know the very same day. :-)
Edit: even my wife wanted a copy of Path Finder - that's a huge compliment, believe me (she unlike my geeky self is hard to impress when it comes to computer stuff).

That's amazing timing! I'm really glad you found this thread.
I just mentioned the LADRUPAL discount in the thread at YCombinator News. Thanks for pointing it out.

Hey Christefano - just voted on your thread at ycombinator, and am definitely glad I stumble across your post today. :-)
thanks man.
Been using pathfinder on and off for years, as an ex-nextie (Next/Nextstep/Openstep) I miss alot of the functionality Apple has always chosen not to bring over. Finally bought a license due to this discount, glad to meet alot of the LA Drupal peeps at DrupalCon.
Christefano, I'll email you about the other plan we have.
Thanks again! I will try and come to next meetup if Joel goes.
Awesome! I'm glad the discount
Awesome! I'm glad the discount is still on the community's radar and that you found it.

This offer is now over but you can get Path Finder for $5 off until June 15 by using the code TWEET510.
This week I was accused of
This week I was accused of financially benefiting by promoting Path Finder and other products and services and I want to reiterate that this is not the case. Neither Exaltation of Larks nor LA Drupal are getting kickbacks of any kind.
If there is an occasion where this does happen, I will openly say so. In fact, to date I have said so (in the case of the Dropbox referral program that directly helps LA Drupal, for example).
To be clear, my intention is to enrich the Drupal community (both locally and globally) and empower people by encouraging best practices and the adoption of useful, powerful tools to help further their Drupal skills.
Anyone know of a new discount
Anyone know of a new discount code for this?
I have been playing with Path Finder for the past week and am ready to invest :)
