Malaysianspace.com - a good idea, now gone; Proposal for Malaysian/SouthEastAsian Friendster Facebook MySpace

I checked out MalaysianSpace.com today and it was not renewed; it was owned by MENJ and it used the `Handshake' SNS software.

Whereas MuslimSpace.com uses the PHP-Fox software

Cyworld is advanced SNS (you can try the English version http://us.cyworld.com)

Habbo Hotel, Gaia Online, are for younger teens and kids

Cyworld/Habbo/Gaia earn money by `micro transactions' - kids pay around 30 cents - these SNS earned millions in profits

My proposal is:

Anybody with a spare change of RM35 here who wants to have your own SNS as good as Friendster? You can obtain a catchy domain name and let DrupalMalaysia.org.my provides the hosting, Drupal and/or Dolphin 6 SNS + CMS and the capacity, and also publicity (from our subdomains)

DrupalMalaysia.org.my is hosted by Skali, a trusted server better than Jaring or any other webhosting company

For more advanced SNS like Cyworld: we will to have to hire experts in PHP or Ruby on Rails programmers; otherwise, Drupal or Dolphin is capable of

You might ask: whats my interest in it?

1. Advertisement - if I advertise, for free; other parties, for agreed fees (I am einterestedd to advertise many types of products, digital and physical :)

2. Friends - I will be `friends' to many :) by virtue of being the webmaster. You will be the user1, I will be the user2, with the super admin role

3. I got to promote to interested organizations and Media owners (Malaysia, Asians) my service (more SNS!)

4. Google Adsense / AdBrite / Revver etc - revenue sharing

5. Videos and audios and stuff I possess and like to share with members

6. You will pay for the renewal of my reseller account and domain name and additional capacity.

There will be no hanky-panky - you can trust me as a good Muslim, that I will be accountable, not cause you loss, legal problem, or hidden agenda, or steal anybody's passwords, or hide any revenue from your knowledge

I will also create the Terms of Usage' andPrivacy Policy' - we will not sell or expose personal emails and data, unlike Facebook which is vague and invasive (yes, they OWN your private data and sell them anyway they like)
