Is there anyone out there who's very comfortable working with Wordpress? I know a company that is evaluating whether or not they should migrate from Drupal 5 to Wordpress so it is easier for them to manage their own site.

Hey Kristen! Do you know what kind of content it is? Blog posts, pages, multimedia?
Membership
The site has paid memberships for content on the site. There are currently around 50 modules enabled though I'm not sure they are actually "using" all of them. They have blogs, media (audio/video), ecommerce (monthly subscription), membership directory. Seems to use views quite a bit.
I don't know anything about wordpress so I'm not sure which features are available there. You've worked with wordpress?
