User group folks have expressed an interest in having a booth at the OSCon and Open Source Bridge. Is anyone out there willing to make arrangements to get the booths? It won't make you responsible for managing volunteers or anything; we can do that here and at the May user group meeting.

OSCon Booth Arranged
I've made the arrangements for the OSCon Booth:
Dot org booths include a carpeted 10x10 booth, 4' draped counter, one counter height stool, and a 7"x44" id sign. You will have to order internet and electricity if you need it.
I'll keep an eye out and order electricity and internet once the forms for that become available. I'm 95% certain I'll be gone all of July, so we definitely need someone who can step up and organize volunteers, etc.
We still need someone to look into an Open Source Bridge booth.
sarah_p coordinating OSCon Booth
At last night's meetup, sarah_p volunteered to handle booth organization for OSCon. We worked together on this two years ago, so I know it will be in good hands. As in 2008, expo hall passes are free, so volunteers (and anyone else who wants to visit the expo hall) will register at https://en.oreilly.com/oscon2010/public/register to get their badges. There will be time on the May 12 user group agenda for Sarah to fill us all in on what she needs.
I've added the event, http://groups.drupal.org/node/65193, so interested volunteers can sign up. Further organization will take place from the new Event thread.
