Coming from 30th St Station
How exactly does one get from 30th St Station to Temple? Don't know really anything about Philadelphia.
Two choices: RR or subway
There are two easy ways to get from 30th St to Temple.
First, every northbound Regional Rail train has a Temple University stop. This is very straightforward, but it might be very busy during rush hour.
The other option is via subway. Take the Market Frankford Line (blue line) to City Hall (Toward Frankford, Eastbound), and then take the Broad Street Line (orange line) to Columbia Station (Toward Fern Rock, Northbound).
The Regional Rail option is posted as $6.75 roundtrip, but there's a 95% chance they won't check for tickets between those stops.
The subway option is $4 roundtrip, but is not advised for the directionally-impaired.
Good luck!
another transportation question
I posted a question on the Drupaldelphia general discussion area, but no one replied, and if there's parking info on the page, I didn't see it - can anyone tell me if there's parking convenient to Temple U, or do I need to find parking elsewhere and transit over?
Thanks!
If you look at the larger
If you look at the larger version of the map on the venue page, you can see a visitor parking next to where we are meeting. I am going to try that.
thanks
Yeah, i hope they have enough space and we're allowed to stay all day... I guess we'll find out :-)
