At the June 1 meeting Boris brought up the Seattle Drupal Camp: http://groups.drupal.org/drupalcamp-seattle-2006
There's an agenda up with a tech and non-tech track. It's sponsored in part by Bryght and Rain City Studios, so you know some of the usual Vancouver suspects will be present :-).
I wanted to start a discussion to get things rolling. (Apologies if this is the wrong venue)
Do people usually go down the night before or the morning of?
Is there a recommended place to stay?

Come one, come all
Things start first thing in the morning, so you'll either need to leave REALLY early....or go the night before.
There isn't a recommended place to stay yet -- good point. I'll get some of our folks working on looking into that, and we should make a post.
We can probably start trying to figure out some car pool arrangements. In fact, we might even have enough people for some sort of bus -- I think there are already at least 14 people going from Vancouver.
Remember: please subscribe to the DrupalCamp Seattle group if you are thinking of going to make sure you catch all the announcements.
place to stay?
Hey Boris,
Any word on that recommended place to stay?
Hopefully nally and I will be able to make it... if so we can probably take an extra body or 2. I'll know more by the end of the week.
Also, do things generally go late on the second day, or should we plan on heading home that evening?

I'll get Gregory Heller to look into places to stay.
Thanks for posting ride availability...I'll start a thread for this in the Drupal Camp Seattle group.
There will likely be beers, etc. at the end of the second day. It's a nice community event, but if you need to get back, you won't be missing any "official" content.
I'm interested in
I'm interested in ride-sharing/throwing in for gas.
