**Please update this outline to be a full multi-page in-depth redesign plan for Drupal.org **
I am trying research the costs invovled in a complete redesign of Drupal.org. All Drupal related implementation would be done by volunteers from the Drupal community but we need to get estimates on what it would cost to get the following deliverables:
Deliverables would include:
1) Audience research analysis, basically a report to the community. Functions mapped to tasks and features.
2) Concept for the site - Drupal infrastructure applications
-Applications on Drupal.org: Books, downloads, Support, Forums, Contact, Association donations, module browsing, project issues, CVS browsing, new aggregation
-Applications on Groups.drupal.org: Groups, Jobs, Events, Contact, Recent content, My groups, Create content
3) Ontology - layout, sub-sites, partitioning, navigation
4) WireFrames - including interaction design
5) Photoshop designs
6) Graphic design deliverables
- May include logo
7) Branding
-May include logo redesign
What is not going to be included in the estimate:
1) Implementation of a new theme
-75 hours from a Drupal theme shop to implement a new theme.
2) Module implementation
- Modules will be taken from Drupal contributions and reviewed in a paid security audit
3) Site implementation
4) Data migration
If you know web site designers, information architects, graphic designers, interaction designers please pass on their contact information. They should have experience with 200K user, and 30M page view size sites.

Okay, I think we need more info about what you have in mind. Is it a redesign of just the website at drupal.org, or a global revision of everything Drupal (.org, groups, the universe and everything)?
- yes, every thing
Do you already have a precise idea of what is to be done, or is this more a "we need ideas/help" topic?
- it's a request for the areas that people feel need to be addressed.
Also, does it go as far as... the logo?
-Added to branding and graphic design
