User group meeting
Hi all,
No-one else has stepped forward to organise (and last month we missed out!) so we're putting our hand up to host the June Perth Drupal meet-up at the Bouncing Orange office. We'll have some drinks and nibbles (please RSVP!) and rather than have normal presentations as we've had at the last few meetups, we're planning to have a few lightning talks!
We've currently got the following:
- A quick walk through a Feeds importer.
- Quick and perhaps slightly dirty geographic search with Views.
- Drupal at themonthly.com.au.
Anyone else have something quick they'd like to share?
You can find us at Suite 4 444 Beaufort Street, Highgate (above the Luxe bar, across the road from St. Alban's Church). If you can't find us, call the office on (08) 9227 0037 and we'll try to give you some directions.

Just to add to what thsutton's said, I'll be doing a quick lightning talk on how the Monthly Magazine are using Drupal. It should be less technical than some of the previous talks, so if you aren't a technical type, there will be something for you at this meetup!
Hope to see a few more people RSVP too. If there's free drinks and nibbles, why wouldn't you! :)

Yeah, thanks Bouncing Orange for hosting (nice office btw!) and thanks for the talks by all. Was neat having a virtual attendee (Sarah) too!
If someone wants to host the next one, just reply with your target date in here (Wednesday evenings towards the end of the month are usually what we do). Ideally you want enough seating for 10-15 people, a computer at hand (projector would be even better), and to supply beer/snacks. If there's nothing confirmed in 2 weeks, I'll put our hand up again.

Events are generally posted here in the Australia group on G.D.O. I think it's possible to setup your notifications here to email you when a new event is created (I seem to have a Notification for events in the drush group) but I can't figure out how to create them.
Other than that, I'd recommend keeping an eye on this group.
