Schedule email reminder X days before node published

It is definately possible to send out a notification X days before a node is published. The rules would look something like this:

• One rule triggering on new content being saved, calling a rule set that manages some scheduling:
  • If publish date is set, use Rules Scheduler to publish the node on that date and time
  • Also add an action to send an email on publish date - X days (also done with Rules Scheduler)
• Another rule triggering on existing content being updated:
  • If publishing date is changed, change the scheduling
