Hello,

Well, after many months of working in my free time (what little I've had lately) I finally converted my custom php CMS over to Drupal. Although not totally finished (as personal projects never are) I thought I'd share with the local Portland Drupal Group my progress. The main motivation for the website was to highlight my career and personal interests (like most personal websites no?).

The main area where I spent my efforts was in the portfolio section where I list all of my professional and personal projects over my career (now reaching the 100 mark wahoo!). Here is a detailed description of the modules and techniques I used so far, as I said it is a work in progress so I plan to update it as "free time" allows. Hopefully that doesn't mean every three to six months.. but it is a crazy time and like me, I'm sure everyone else is really busy.

here is the project details related to the website rebuild.

Main website, take a gander.

The second subject is related to conversations I've had while at local Portland Drupal Meetings, there is discussion about building a community website utilizing features and or contributed effort. What is the URL for this website and are there documents or google docs with further information?

Please post your thoughts or questions and I look forward to hearing them.

Thanks,

Hi Robert,

Wow, you have a very impressive portfolio! So many skills and so many projects. I like the clean user interface of the site, too.

In terms of the community site, you might want to speak with eliza411 about whether or not she needs additional volunteers, and mikey_p about the project documentation.

Cheers,
Dan
