Reviving the Drupal users group of las Vegas!

Hello everyone,
My name is Kevin Collignon and have been using Drupal for about 3 years now. After spending time in Colorado for a few years doing work up there and getting involved with Drupal groups in the area, i am returning home to my hometown of wonderful las Vegas.

Let's revive the Drupal users group of las Vegas! I'm here to help organize meetups, sessions, whatever needs to be done. I have an office and conference space available for meet ups. If anyone is interested just contact me and we organize more.

Looking forward to seeing the drupAl group of Las Vegas become one of the PREMIER user groups in our area.

I am in the process of setting up a web site that can be used as our centralized location for more discussions, photos, news, and to set up meet ups for the las Vegas Drupal users group. More details soon.

There's no reason to create something new. Let's just update and use what's already there.

Based on the most recent post, I'd say no one is maintaining it. The person to contact about that site would be purrin.

Other than a few recent posts toward the bottom of this thread, I haven't heard from anyone in many months, so I don't know where people are in regards to Drupal.

Thank you for your guys comments. Support and involvement is what is going to get this user group and running. I am in talks right now with a few buddies of mine that are highly involved with the Drupal association and we are looking at bringing a Drupal camp to las Vegas.

What I'd like to do is get a few start up meetings going to talk about our plans for the future.

What time works best for you guys? Weekends? Nights? I will have my conference room reserved.

You don't bring a DrupalCamp, you create one. If you want to bring something to Las Vegas, vote on bringing DrupalCon to Las Vegas.

Wednesday and Friday evenings are generally best for me. I currently have things going on just about every other night of the week.

Any weekday nights are good for me as long as I can find a sitter. I like Wednesday for no apparent reason.

This is exciting! looking forward to seeing some long lost drupalers and meeting some new ones.
