Hey folks, I just registered and bought my ticket for the PNW Drupal Summit in Vancouver, BC, in early Oct, and saw that there are almost no PDXers registered. Unfortunately it's not free like some recent camps have been, but I hope plenty of us can go. I'm planning on taking the train up.

I hope lots of PDX'ers can make it
An initial goal of the Summit was to provide a regional rotating conference for Drupal professionals. Ideally PDX will Host the PNW Drupal Summit 2011(this would of course depend upon local Drupal folks taking up the role of organizing). I am hoping to have a BOF in Vancouver about the future of the Summit, maintaining/archiving the event website and any other things people want to talk about with regards to improving and advancing the conference.

echoing rocksoup, i really hope a bunch of PDX folks can make it up! i'd really like to discuss the summit in a meta way with folks from all 3 cities as well. (and sidenote, looks like d.o is offering to archive old sites for free http://groups.drupal.org/node/84644, so we may just want to take advantage of that, depending on feedback for trying out managing multiple years in one site).
Passports
Don't forget it takes 4-6 weeks to get a passport, which is now required for travel to Canada!
I'll be there though.
