Hi all, I'm a Coffs Harbour-based Drupal developer - actually the Coffs Harbour-based Drupal developer, and I'll be coming to Melbourne for the mini-conf on Sunday. Because of the weird economics of interstate travel, I'll actually be in town from Saturday to Tuesday morning, so while I'm there I'd like to make the most of the opportunity to meet other Drupallers and free software people generally, and get some kind of idea of the state of the industry outside of my little bubble.
If anybody's got some time for a chat, please let me know - I'd really appreciate it. I get so lonely up here!

Wow, that's a decent distance to travel! I work at a client in the city, so we can definitely catch up for a beer on Monday, if you're interested. I'm sure some others can do the same.

Turns out I won't get into town as early as I would have liked on Saturday, so Monday may be the only chance I get to meet up with anybody who's not going on Sunday (unless somebody very determined wants to have a geeky chat at 9:30 on a Saturday night - it's my idea of fun, but maybe not for everybody).
If anybody's interested, would you be able to nominate a meeting place for post-working hours drinkies on Monday? As suggested earlier it would be a good chance to debrief. I've only been to Melbourne a few times, and although I worked very hard on each occasion to familiarise myself with the local pubs, I can't remember the names of any of my favourites for some reason.
