Drupalcamp Phoenix: Come on over to Phoenix and get into a sunny November Drupal vacation! Drupalcamp Phoenix will be a one day event with a Friday night event and all day Saturday to come learn and share Drupal.

...Kevin Wall, Russell Keppner, and/or Jeff Beeman. Kevin and Russell co-organize PDUG (http://www.meetup.com/Phoenix-Drupal-User-Group/), while Jeff heads the ASUDUG (http://groups.drupal.org/arizona-state-university) along with Kathy Marks, Tammy Allgood, and Gene Tucker.
The camp is slated for November 6th, so we've got a lot to do in short period of time. Thanks for your participation!

Is there a camp website? If you need help let me know and I can get you the code base for SANDcamp. 2011.sandcamp.org It's still in beta and has some bugs, but our camp isn't until Jan so we're taking our time.

Hey Ron, long time no see. How are things over at Achieve? I haven't really talked to you guys since we finished that contract right after Drupalcon San Francisco.
A few months ago I started spearheading an effort to get a Drupalcamp here in Phoenix, but now there are a number of people involved. For the web site or sponsorship, you'll want to talk to Kevin Wall, who's heading up those two efforts. (He's president of KWALL, a local Drupal shop which will also be one of the sponsors for the event.) He and I co-maintain the Phoenix Drupal Users Group meetup.
We're really hoping to try to flush out a lot of Drupal users here in the valley. Our meetups tend to be pretty small right now, but I keep finding people using Drupal.

Hi Russell,
I am glad to see you're doing well.
I know this is your guys first camp in Phoenix so I don't want to scare anyone. However there's allot of talk about a West/Southwest regional conference. I met some guys at the LA Drupalcamp from Phoenix and even some folks from Vegas, who all seemed to be interested in spreading the Drupal Love. Our SANDcamp is Jan 8-9, 2011, it would be great to see the Phoenix crew make the trip. We're expecting well over 300 people and with any luck some really big Drupal Rockstars. Of course those numbers bring in the sponsors and four months out we have already surpassed last years commitments.
