Any advise or hint on how to move wordpress site over to drupal by customizing the design

explains how to migrate the database. the port the theme, you will probably have to do some manual labor and dive into Drupal themeing.

In general it is always a good idea to first search the drupal.org site for issues like this. there is a lot of problems and challenges that other people have already solved for you.
