New Drupal distribution for the academic community

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.

Since we have a number of our members from academia, I thought that this was relevant news. Acquia is doing a Web Seminar on the just released Drupal distribution for educational institutions called OpenScholar.

Going by the video overview and written overview on the features, this looks to be a real nice packaged solution. The only thing I see missing is a good document management solution like filedepot but that's easily solved :)
