Hi Vermont Drupaleers,
I have been out of touch with the group, and I haven't been doing much Drupal development lately. How is everyone doing? Is there interest in having a meeting soon?
I would love to hear news and stories of Drupalcon 2010 if anyone has them!

Next Meeting
I'd come if a meeting is organized. Mischul
would also be interested in a meeting.
Hey Guys, we should do this! I think with Drupal 7 so close, there is plenty to talk about. I have been playing with Context 3.0 and it's really awesome. I could give a demo of that if people are interested.
Meeting would be great
Hey Guys, I'm new to the Vermont Drupal group, and am glad to see there is some interest in a meeting. Would be great to have one.
I work full time with Drupal now, and I am making a lot of progress with my projects and personal knowledge and I'll be happy to share what I've been up to, and also some news/stories from the SF2010 Drupalcon. But right now its a little after 6am so I'll be doing that later today or soon.
Gdoteof, I recently started using Context for a client's site, it was really fantastic but I only used a little of it. I'm sure there's a lot more I never tapped into. Would love to hear your thoughts and experiences with it!
Orson can you host?
Orson - would tag be willing to host us again? You all have a pretty great setup for doing meetings like this.

Would also be interested
Also new to the Vermont Drupal group. Would love to attend, especially if there is a context demo. I'm a front-end developer for Magic Hat and we are considering reorganizing magichat.net to use context for subthemes. Would also love to talk about Drupal 7, anything theme related, and perhaps a series of local drupal workshops to get more people involved.
Any proposed dates?
I prefer weekends, but don't if that works for everyone else.
I'd like to attend. I've been
I'd like to attend. I've been developing sites primarily in Drupal 6 using Panels. I haven't had a chance to really play with D7 and I know very little about Context. It would be nice to learn more about both...
Yay interest!
Cool, there are a lot of people interested!
I'd be interested in seeing a demo of context.
I think we can host again, but would be easier to do it on a weekend. Our office has become too small for us, and the conference room is also an office for two people, so I don't want to chance disturbing them if they're working late.
We may be moving from our offices soon to a bigger space in the coming months, so that's another factor.
I would tentatively schedule a mid to late october weekend.
Awesome
Glad there is some interest.
I think we have done weekday evenings in the past, but a weekend seems to open up more possibilities.
Also, there is potential for Eating Well (eatingwell.com) to host in their offices in Charlotte at some point.
I am personally open any of the weekends in October. I could also do Friday evenings after normal business hours.
Meeting time
I am available October weekends, except Oct 2 and 16-17, but not the mornings of the 3rd and the 10th.
Looking forward to it.

Hi all, I've been in Portland, OR
If we all agree to meet in Burlington or Montpelier I can make it. I went to DrupalCon in SF and presented on it in Portland. I would be happy to present on it again or just have an informal discussion about it. I'm a UVM graduate. I wonder if UVM would be excited to get open source groups meeting on their campus...
So......
Orson, take charge! Any word on using Tag's space? If not I am sure we can talk 19 Church into it if we prefer Burlington, or I can get a spot here at EatingWell in Charlotte.
How does everyone feel about Oct 23rd, like 2pm-whenever?
Geoff
Oct 23 sounds good.
Works for me. I can't do the 30th, so this is perfect.
Drupalcamp Montreal
I'd love to come too, but the weekend of the 23/24th is also the weekend of the Montreal Drupalcamp. One would think there would be a bunch of us Vermont Drupal users heading up, as am I.
http://www.drupalcampmontreal.com in case anyone is interested.
Drupalcamp Montreal indeed
Good call patwarn. Yes, seems like the Vermont crew should head north for the weekend and meet up in Montreal during the camp. Maybe gdoteof could present on Context 3.0 in Montreal?
Sounds like 23rd might not be the best option?
If folks are headed north for Montreal camp, maybe it makes sense to reschedule? Are folks pretty committed to weekends or would some week days work alright? My preference is definitely during the week, but it sounds like we've got some strong interest in weekends. How's week of or weekend of the 30th?

Unfortunately
I am not yet welcome to Canada due to a marijuana conviction almost a decade ago so I will not be in Montreal. (So soon though!)
However, I agree that we should not conflict with that meeting.
Personally, the weekend before or after works for me. I can't do Fridays until after 6pm, but those work for me as well.
Next Meeting
Weekend of the 30-31st sounds good. Or most any evening from Oct 19th on. Weekdays also possible.

Hi From 19 Church
Hi All,
haven't been on the group page for a while. 19 Church is available for a Drupal gathering.
Is there a car pool going up to DrupalCamp Montreal?
Cheers.

Carpool
I'd be happy to drive to Montreal in my sorta crappy ford focus. Room for 4.
Oct 29th
I propose Friday, October the 29th at the Tag New Media office (156 St. Paul Street in Burlington.) starting at 6pm.
I have to find out more about the DrupalCamp - that sounds interesting. I would like to join the carpool, too.
seconded
That sounds good to me.
Meeting Friday Oct 29th 6pm works for me
