Hi everyone, I've been working on several Drupal based community media projects for a while now. Glad to hear about this process and kudos to Knight for supporting FOSS! I'm going to post some proposals for this group to consider, here is the first one :)
FilmForge. FilmForge is a distribution (actually, an installation profile) of the Free/Libre Open Source Softare content management system Drupal, tailored to the needs of videomaking communities. Hey amigo,
We're working on an install profile that will likely have some cross-over with your project, and also makes content available for public access TV stations to broadcast. its functioning in its initial stages at denveropenmedia.org, where we have a few thousand hours of content available, the most popular of which airs on the DOM TV channels in Denver.
We've got a long way to go, but I'm glad to see you're doing some related work, as it will give us an excuse to connect again. Any plans to come to Denver for the DNC? If so, I've got a spare bedroom with your name on it!
