mgifford suggested (thanks for the suggestion) I post here about the Readability module. It grades the readability of content using the five standard automated readability tests:
- Flesch Kincaid
- Gunning Fog Score
- Coleman Liau Index
- SMOG Index
- Automated Readability Index
It leverages the Content Analysis API to enable you to test node content, free text or any web page via a URL page fetch.

Creating standardized Readability is a nice way to help enhance accessibility:
3.1.5 Reading Level: When text requires reading ability more advanced than the lower secondary education level after removal of proper names and titles, supplemental content, or a version that does not require reading ability more advanced than the lower secondary education level, is available. (Level AAA)
It's a triple A standard so should be seen as a nice addition, but I do think that this module could improve every site looking for a consistent presentation. Hopefully it makes it to the top 25 modules in Drupal 7.
