The High Desert Drupal group meets the first Thursday of every month. This local group is a nice place for people to learn and talk about Drupal, a world popular content management system (CMS). We also talk about web development in general, covering all aspects from planning, design, development, and maintaining a web site. RSVP is not required and attendance is free. Tell all your friends!

We're going to take a walk on the design side. This has been a long time in waiting. We're going from geek to chic (sh ēk). Typically this group has been very code centric, it's time to flip the coin and see the other side of web development.

This month Matthew Krick will present to us a Photoshop technique he used on a recent project. He created an "Old West" wanted poster with a wooden background using Photoshop. He'll show us the process he used to create the "Old West" poster.

ActiveLAMP in Victorville
We are meeting at the new ActiveLAMP office in Victorville, on the corner of Ridgecrest Rd and Bear Valley Rd, in the Ridgecrest Business Park.
If you plan on attending, sign up for an account on this site and then click the "Sign Up" button below to let us know you're coming. High Desert Meetups
Hi,
Apparently I joined this group just in time to miss the October meetup. With my current transportation getting to Victorville would be a problem anyways, but hopefully I can solve that issue soon. Until then was wondering if there are any Drupaleros who live a little closer to the Palmdale area who might like to meet for a coffee and talk websites?
Also: Is there a link to an image of the finished product of that "Old West" poster. I would enjoy seeing how it came out even if I missed the presentation.
