Last night I did a screencast on how to use Rules together with Views Bulk Operations. The combination is really useful when you want to do some kind of database query and perform actions on the result. (The screencast was inspired by some previous questions in this group.)
The screencast can be viewed here: http://nodeone.se/blogg/nodeone-talks-drupal-rules-views-bulk-operations
I am not 100 percent satisfied with the screencast, so I would like to do an experiment here. If you have time I'd be greatful if you (1) watch the screencast and (2) write a comment on the blogpost with one of the following quotes:
- "I think this screencast is good enough!"
- "I think this screencast should be re-recorded, making it more clear an concise."
- "I think this screencast should be re-recorded and broken up into two separate screencasts – one with the VBO -> Rules functions, one with the Rules -> VBO functions."
Note that I will be glad for any comments – telling me to re-record the screencast is something positive. :-)
I hope the screencast can be of help!

Updated screencast
There is updated screencast available at http://nodeone.se/blogg/nodeone-talks-drupal-rules-vbo-revisited.
Thanks
Yes indeed, there is an updated screencast.
More distinct, a bit longer, less side tracking, less errouneous statements about bugs in VBO. In shor: better. :-)
Thanks for being so quick on posting the link!
Awesome screencast
That screencast is very good. I'm thinking of ways I can use VBO and rules to add in node references :)
Thank you
I just wanted to say thank you for this excellent screencast - and the whole series. You've saved me a lot of headaches.
