A few of us have been working at securing a new location for Florida DrupalCamp 2011 - and we've made some good progress.
Before we go much further, we want to double-check the date that we've been working with: February 12-13, 2011. The location will remain in Central Florida.
As far as we can tell, these dates are relatively safe, with the only downside is that this is also the closest weekend to Valentine's Day (the SuperBowl is February 6, the Daytona 500 is February 20, DrupalCon Chicago is March 7-10, there are no other DrupalCamps currently scheduled for this weekend).
We've done some basic research with these dates - trying to determine if we'd be conflicting with any other events that would be of interest to our participants.
We're looking for feedback from the Florida Drupal community. Let us know what you think of these dates, if you know of any potential conflicts, or if you have any comments.
We'd like to lock in the date early next week - so please be prompt with any responses.

Thanks for posting the potential dates so early for DrupalCamp Florida. One other event that you may want to add to your list of potential conflicts is BarCampMiami. I checked their site (http://barcampmiami.org/), but I see no sign of them making a decision on their dates yet. If someone has a contact at barcampmiami, it may be worth it to check with them to see what dates they are planning as well.

Seeing as no one has stated that is a bad day, I think we should set that as the date for the Drupal Camp.
