drupal 8 question
would like to let people down load a copy of my site.
Do not have time to make a profile and plan to give the: sites, theme and module folder and the database .sql file.
i plan to have people change the database & user name and password plus change admin name/password. i noticed there is a new unique number generated in sites/files and i am sure the salt encryption number is site unique.
My question to any d8's can You think of any other single site specific numbers i need to change before i hand out copies.
Thank You!

Where do you suggest we have Brewpal next week?
Criteria:
- Free, decent wifi
- Group friendly and establishment is ok with people hanging out for a long time and coming and going
- Pay at the bar (preferred)
- Central-ish Portland location
One place that fits this criteria is the Lucky Lab (NW 21st & Quimby), so we'll default there if there are no other viable suggestions.

Read moreNo Front End meetup this month (January)
Hello, sad to announce that there will be no front-end Drupal meetup this month. I was unable to get a speaker and my wife just had a baby so I will not be able to fill in. So I am afraid I must cancel.
We will be having one next month, I am working out the details, but save the date: February 18th, the Front-End meetups will be back.

This is the return of the Front-End Drupal meetup.
Last month October we talked about Reactjs.
This time:
Amber Matz will present an introduction to Twig in Drupal 8. She will cover Twig's main features, how Twig is used in Drupal, the benefits of including Twig in Drupal, who needs to learn Twig, and where to find resources.
We will have pizza, just like last time.
This will be on the East Side, over at Clarity Innovations.

Brewpal at Lucky Lab on NW Quimby (Tuesday Jan 25)
Brewpal is an informal local Drupal gathering. Meet others in the community, work on projects, chat about job opportunities. There's no formal agenda and all are welcome. Bring a jacket as often we meet in the picnic tables outside to accommodate those who bring their dogs.
This month, we'll meet at the Lucky Lab at 1945 NW Quimby St, Portland, OR 97209. Come anytime between 5pm and 8:30pm and look for a bunch of friendly nerds with laptops. (There might be multiple tables with nerds and laptops, this is Portland after all; so just ask around if you're unsure.)
