A good solution for a document management system

I'm looking to build a document mangement system that will hold ~5000 files amounting to about 80GB of storage. Has anyone got any recommendations for a suitable approach using Drupal?
Currently I've tried a few things...

This doesn't appear to offer you much more than doing it yourself -

we have just launched new company www.webrecs.com.au the main aim of this company is to provide online (hosted) document management system.
I would like to find out how it could integrate with drupal (the product is based on alfresco).
any comments will be appreciated.
