DPSX via its events brings leading experts, entrepreneurs, public sector intrapreneurs and visionaries together to discuss the future of the Drupal in the UK Public Sector; both central local government. The group is cross departmental and its focus is across the public sector, from innovation in healthcare to DAAS for centrally administered sites...

The aim is to use real-world business cases to brainstorming amongst us, network and explore the rapid adoption and maturation of Drupal and other Open Source solutions and services in the Public Sector.

At our Drupal meetups we get together to talk, share knowledge and exchange ideas.

• Introductions, getting to know how we're using Drupal and supporting eachother to increase our skills.

• Also seeing what people's needs are and planning future events to fit in with those needs along with some social events of course!

• General Drupal Q&A for anyone attending (for all levels from beginner to advanced).

• Bringing our problems (and laptops too!) to the table and see if we can come up with solutions together.

It's nearly time for the October Drupal Show and Tell. We have now confirmed the following talks:

Jeni Tehan of Delicious Creative will be presenting her talk: 'Ansible and Install Profiles'

Gareth Goodwin from FiveMile with be talking about using Codeship for building an install profile, running tests & deploying to servers.

Gorka Guridi from Cameron & Wilding will be presenting 'Contribute to Drupal: A how-to guide'.

We will be starting slightly later at 6.30pm following some feedback. Hopefully this will give you a bit more travelling time after work.

At our Drupal meetups we get together to learn, talk, share knowledge, exchange ideas and help eachother solve our Drupal problems.

Drupal Teachers are delighted to offer a new range of Drupal 7 training packages for beginners through to intermediate users. This training provides exposure to Drupal 7 as well as guidance and insights from Drupal experts.

Drupal Teachers is headed up by City University, Roomify, MTV and BrightLemon. These organisations have previously worked together as the partners behind Drupal Camp London.

We are happy to announce that we are running Drupal training sessions this month as part of the Global Training Days. The initiative is run by the Drupal Association to introduce new and beginner users to Drupal.

Come and join us on Friday 21st August to learn about what Drupal does and how it can help you. We will discuss the software and show you examples of it in action.

This July, BrightLemon are proud to host the UK D8 Critical Sprint between the 2nd - 8th July.

At present, there are 22 known critical issues blocking a Drupal 8 release candidate, so we're hosting this sprint to help close that gap and facilitate the next release of D8!

To celebrate all the hard work going into this Critical Sprint, we'll be hosting a Post-Critical Sprint Party on Wednesday 8th July to talk Drupal, share success stories and experiences. We may even have time for a BBQ and a drink or two!
