Hi Pune Drupalers,
With Drupal 8 gaining traction in the past few days, we are organizing a day full of sessions around it in Pune on 1st December 2018 which is also the Drupal Global Training Day for everyone who works with Drupal.
The topics of these sessions are around the latest stable release of Drupal - 8.
The target audience for these sessions would be anyone who has basic working knowledge in the older versions of Drupal (7 and earlier), and to get started into Drupal 8.

- Organizing virtual sprints on second Saturday of every month (interested people/organisations can organize in-person regional meetups).

DrupalCAP team along with Pune and Mumbai Drupal Community announces Drupal 8 Workshop for students on 17th June, 2017. The basic agenda of this Global Training Day is to give a walk through on Open Source, Drupal and Site building to students of A. P. Shah Institute of Technology.

Good to see Drupal Camp Hyderabad being the first paid camp in India. This is a more sustainable model and has been long due in India. In most of the camps in India, a large section of the crowd used to be irrelevant to the camp, and many times, we did see a large number of random students from the host university spending their weekend at the free camp.
Paid camps solve many of those problems with sustainability and effectiveness of the camps.
Although, what disappoints me is to see that sponsors get 2 sessions each to speak, for granted.
