manager

As I can see the maintainer or the manager of Drupal Bangladesh group is not active.

I want to be a manager of this group to make Drupal Bangladesh Group active and make it more popular here in Bangladesh.

I've 2 years of web developing experience on Drupal, Joomla, Magento, Wordpress.

You can see my background I think I could be a perfect option to be a manager of this group and I can afford to do this on my extra time.

I know its a lot of work to do but when my country is in need.

I've setup a COD (conference organization distro) for a yearly environmental conference that works quite well in general. Unfortunately, the group I made this site for is transitioning from a simple HTML site with most changes being uploaded as pdfs via ftp. Traditionally they do most of their changes and communications via documents and files. Instead of providing ftp access, what modules or setups provide a good, safe and clean UI for Files and Documents Organization?

I've searched quite deeply the Drupal site (and other resources) and as far as I could tell, the gmap module's "marker manager" is not ready yet. It worked in v4.7 sites but not in v5.x .
Is that so? If I'm correct, what's my options for a scenario in which I have a site with a map with over 30,000 entries in it (across whole US, for example).

An admin in my group gets access denied. Ideally, group admins should be able to send email?
