I just stumbled across this announcement of Drupal Summit Vancouver -- A free drupal conference in the NW.
It's October 2-3.

We should do what we can as a group to
A) Get people from Eugene (and the Willamette Valley) up there by providing support (logistics, fundraising?)
and
B) Support the organizing of the gathering.
