Deciding how to structure a school's intranet
How are people defining classrooms? Are you making a group for each class or are you using taxonomy? Have you got the dashboard working showing all of a student's assignments? Is gradebook working right? Please share what you've learned about the best way to organize classrooms in organic groups.
Here's what I'm doing: I am using OA (Beta 8) as a classroom tool for schools; the promise of team-based projects is the attraction. Having an easy, and also slick, way to do this is great.

Hello I'm building a small lms with Drupal, it's really simple.
Quiz module to test.
a cck module to lessons.
I make books of lessons and test.
I'm developing a small code to don't let people go to the next lesson if they don't pass the test of the lesson, I build a relationship between test and lessons with node-reference.
Control access to lessons with taxonomy control access.
A modulo to ask a new course and a small workflow of two persons to accept the course.
I hope to finish it this week or the next week.
Thanks

I am making a school intranet site. I would like to have a place where the office can store many of its files/documents for the staff to have access to. Now, if we want a form we have to go to the office and the office is covered with forms. It would nice at a central location. Are there any recommendations on a module to use for this purpose?
What would be the best calendar for the staff to keep adding information to-- a central calendar?
