Is it almost the 3rd Tuesday of the month? Jings! Crivvens! It is!

The next Dundee meetup will be on Tuesday 15th October, to discuss lots of the latest Drupal news (and there's tons since we last met) and learn how you can build beautiful maps with Openlayers and OpenStreetMap in Drupal.

Meet in out more traditional room 1G10 in the Dalhousie Building (http://www.dundee.ac.uk/general/campusguide/virtualtour/dalhousie/). The room is available from 6.30 and we'll kick off at 7. We'll aim to finish before 8.30pm.

Our next Dundee meetup will be on Tuesday 20th August. Kicking off at 7pm - we're in a different venue due to the summer shutdown of parts of the university - T8 on the 2nd Floor of the Tower Building, School of Humanities, Nethergate, Dundee DD1 4HN. We'll aim to finish before 8.30pm and pop across the road to Braes Bar afterwards.

Drupal comes to Dundee!

The first meeting of the Dundee Drupal User Group kicks off on Tuesday 21st May, in room 1G10 in the Dalhousie Building (http://www.dundee.ac.uk/general/campusguide/virtualtour/dalhousie/).

The room's available from 6.30pm, with the main event kicking off at 7pm:

• Summary of what's happening on Planet Drupal right now
• Job announcements
• Lightning Talks - 5 minute slots for anyone to demo anything cool and interesting they've stumbled across recently.
• Main Presentation: "The Current State of Drupal 8" - Dries Buytaert*
• Pub

Hi Drupalers!

I'm pleased to invite you to the next tech chat at Heehaw Digital (8b St Vincent Street), followed by food and drink at a pub.

If you've got a topic you'd like to talk about or hear about, please do add a comment. We'll be able to fire things up on a big screen. One potential topic mentioned last time is "getting started with module building".

We'll head to The Standard, 24 Howe Street for food / drink afterwards. We'll aim to get there for about half seven, so if you can't make the tech chatter maybe you can come and find us there!
