Looking for a tech co-founder/cofounder for social impact project
Hi,
I am reaching out to see if there are any front or back end devs who love Drupal as much as me who might want to team up.
I have developed a platform but need a tech co-founder who wants to help on a social impact platform
Drop me a note and let's talk more.
I am in San Francisco, Boston, and Atlanta.
You can be anywhere on the planet if the fit is right.

Intending to cross-pollinate the Drupal community with other communities that can or do use, Drupal - or free software, seeking to highlight diversity by implementing a visual campaign on several sites that already have robust communities, to make long lasting relationships.
The Free Software Foundation fsf.org has already taken up the call and is implementing the start of this campaign now - soon to be revealed.
How can the Drupal community get involved?

DrupalCon 2015 - Anyone wanna plan a session
It was a pleasure to meet everyone at DrupalCon Austin 2014. I regret I was not able to join folks for drinks that evening, I hope it won't be the last opportunity I have.
I am glad to see there are Queer Folks represented in this industry. One of the things that struck me about the BOF was the number of voices that seemed to resonate with the theme of alienation. For the folks who feel this in their workplace my heart goes out to you; hang in there and keep fighting the good fight.

I would like to see more diversity at my company, but representation by women (not surprisingly) stays representative of the percentage of female applicants we see. That is too say, not very high. I would like to encourage more female applicants to apply to our development shop and to tech positions more generally.
So, here are my questions:
- Are there any recommendations on what an employer can do to make his/her company more attractive to female applicants?
- How can a business do more to encourage more women choosing tech as a career path?
