Mutisite: Different IP Addreses, one Drupal Code base, different Databases, Unified User accesss, Single Sign on. Comments on Architecture and Recommondations, please!
Hi all,
I hope someone has had the same/similar architectural situation as mine and made it work!
Here is what I have / did:
I would like to create a content based sites like,
windows.development.com
linux.development.com
mac.development.com
etc.
I have different IP addresses for TLD (development.com) and subdomains (all sub domains have one IP address)
I installed Drupal with mutisite feature. Different Databases with one code base. Its working fine.

We're looking at SSO solutions to replace the system we currently use which was built in-house. Our requirements (for now) are:
- Works with Drupal
- Works with WordPress
- Works with custom PHP applications
- Supports LDAP, Kerberos and optionally SPNEGO
- Ideally Open Source
- High Availability

Anyone have interest in a Facebook single sign-on module? We'll be working on this this week and wanted some development help and/or ideas. With Facebook's new application API this is going to be huge to allow Facebook users to seamlessly sign-in to Drupal sites for use in Facebook Applications.
