I develop enterprise software (for the desktop) for my day job, but have very little web development experience. Drupal has been an ideal tool for applying my information architecture tendencies to website building. As my first Drupal project I built a site for my local town Planning Board. It's got CCK types for Meetings, Meeting Agenda, Meeting Minutes, Meeting Notices, Cases and Submissions, all related through a combination of nodereferences and taxonomy.
