The Vancouver Drupal Users Group (VanDUG) is the local meeting place for Greater Vancouver people interested in Drupal. We were formerly known as the Vancouver League of Drupalers, but that's a long story.
The group mostly hangs out on Slack at https://vandug.slack.com/. We also post our meetings on Meetup.com at https://www.meetup.com/Vancouver-Drupal-Users-Group. All are welcome, it's listed as a private group to keep out the griefers.
We've been holding semi-regular virtual meetings during COVID-19.

The main ones to being covered are Skinr, Context, and Features. The presentation will be an introduction on using Skinr with the well supported Fusion base theme, and how we can make it even better with the Context module. We will then take a look at the Features module, and how we use it to simplify our development processes. This is an introduction to these tools, and will be good for beginners and advanced Drupal site builders.

Ben Holt from Jibe Multimedia discusses how to match your site's requirements against hosting options like VPSs and dedicated servers. After Ben's presentation you're invited to share your own hosting experience by giving a "lightning talk" (2 to 4 minutes) on your host or some aspect of Drupal hosting. No sign-up is necessary.

Hi Folks,
You may have seen some of my earlier posts. I am a Drupal newbie and have been presented with an opportunity to do some work for a research project at UBC.
I put Drupal on the table and the are excited about using this due to the future possibilities, however phase one is a very low'ish tech solution to gather information from a user via some kind of questionnaire/form interface and store/present this back as a summary which is printable, savable, accessible.
