South Melbourne Informal Night for April!

I've been a little out of the loop lately, but it IS the second Tuesday of the month - our traditional meet up date at the Railway. If we have people visiting Melbourne for the Lullabot training stop by and say hello. There is no formal agenda other than to meet and share a drink.

We will be at the Railway for those of you that can make it. All drupalers are welcome - join us if you can on 8 April 2008 at 6:30. Hope to see you there.

Lullbots

For people coming from the Lullabot training:

  1. take a 48 or 70 tram down Flinders street until Spencer street. Quick, jump off!
  2. face south towards the Casino. Suppress the shaking in your hands. Get on the number 96 tram.
  3. Ask the driver to tell yell out for Bank st. The tram will go down Ferrars st and the Railway Hotel is on the corner of Bank and Ferrars.

How to recognise you?

Hi, I'm new(ish) to Melbourne and have decided to come along to one of your informal nights. I'm a little worried about knowing who you are in a crowded pub, any chance of some secret signs or handshakes so I know I'm not talking to a random bunch of lawyers or dock workers? Do you sit in a particular position or have a little sign up? Or maybe I will instinctively recognise some of my own kind... Any hints would be greatly appreciated.

We are in the dining area. Prolly one or two people with laptops. On Tuesday night it's fairly quiet anyway so its hard to miss us.
