At the Central NJ meetup tonight we discussed a tentative plan for a NJ Drupal camp. The rough outline:
- To be held on a Saturday in early to mid-February (probably Saturday, February 4th).
- Tentative location, Princeton University campus
- At least 3 tracks
- track #1 focused at beginners and starting with a 3 hour "Hello Drupal"
- track #2 for focused talks on one or two topics, possibly including security, search, or performance
- track #3 for any other talks submitted and accepted.
- In track #1 or #3 at least one session on getting started and local development on a Windows machine
The point person will be Ray at Blink Reaction.
How does this sound? Would you like to help or submit a talk or attend?

I will of course help organize, or help in any way. Let me know if you need any resources from IAS.

I would attend and perhaps submit a session as well.
Great meeting, great feedback
Enjoyed meeting everyone last night and brainstorming around the first NJ Camp - happy to see so much interest so quickly!

Theming
Can there be a theming track?
Sounds Great!
I'm in for going/helping/presenting, anything you need. I'd love to see a 4th track around Business/Project Management as they seem to be well attended at other camps/cons.

Count me in
As long as it isn't Valentine's Day!
I'd love to make a presentation around functional analysis best practices. Probably would line up well with mdorman's PM track.

Amusingly enough - we are apparently just in time to be part of the "age of the Drupalcamp" http://drupalradar.com/age-drupalcamp
W00t!
I'm sure a couple of Zivtechers would take the ride up to Princeton to take part in this. Looking forward to a great NJ Camp!
edit: like Tim, above. Duh.

more firm date: Feb 4th
After discussing the logistics of getting this potentially hosted at Princeton Univ, looks liek Feb 4th would be a better fit in the academic schedule, so we are going to assume that's going to be the date.
Looking forward to it!!

Count me in to attend. I will also submit my "Omega+Delta+Context=Theming for the rest of us" session.
I would attend
I would definitely attend and could probably do a session on either non technical people using Drupal (i.e. me) or business reasons to use Drupal.
25 minutes to Drupal
I'd definitely take the short 25 minute drive to Princeton for Drupal. I'd actually drive a lot farther than that, but this time I think I got lucky with the choice of venue ;) I will be there.
