Your support before February 12th would be much appreciated if you think this project is worthwhile.
We think it is :)

It's not a bad idea I

It's not a bad idea I suppose, but why have it in Midland? Have you ever been out there? It is absolutely awful, crime is rife, and it's a million miles away from anything. I once dated a girl from Midland, her house had bars on the windows and a baseball bat by the front door, just to keep intruders out. Once when I was driving home I saw a group of "locals" hurling a rubbish bin at the front window of an electronics store, no doubt in an attempt to relieve the shopkeeper of his stock.

The official answer to this is here:
http://www.midlandatelier.com/dmh/why-midland

From a personal point of view, I think developing new and innovative projects in areas that might be considered as "not very fashionable" is a good thing. I also think that the Hub will be more than likely taking the shape of an online network essentially, and then residencies, exhibitions etc. would happen there, a good way of getting people out of their comfort zone.

I am interested in helping support this project by publicising it at drupal.com.au.

The easiest way for me is if you let me know an appropriate feed from the site.

http://www.midlandatelier.com/rss.xml currently returns PHP errors.

Failing that feed I could just put up one of your embedded icon thingys but I don't think that is optimal.

Also give me a few sentences about why you chose Drupal. Post that here as reply and I will pick it up.

Feed not possible

Hi John,

Thanks for that!

We actually haven't built the Midland Atelier website, we are just sharing the hosting platform for this campaign website.
Only http://www.midlandatelier.com/dmh/ is made with Drupal.

Can you get something from this one?

We chose Drupal because we are a fully dedicated Drupal Agency and have developed a knowledge based on this framework.
Modular platform, global community, open Source, these are all the resaons why we love working with Drupal.

Geraldine, I got what I could, and did what I did, and now for a little while the campaign is promo-d at http://drupal.com.au/

I like the mission statement of FORM.

"FORM is a not for profit organisation which advocates for and develops creativity in Western Australia."

And I like the "If you bounce an orange in the woods, will it make a sound?" on your own site. :)

Was doing social distancing before it was cool.

Thank you!
