Drupal Admin Theme - Pre-release Beta

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.

We're just about to release a purpose-built Drupal admin theme called "Polpo" onto Drupal.org and before we do, it'd be great to get some feedback from Australian Drupalers before we release it to the global masses.

You can download v 0.9 it at http://github.com/previousnext/polpo/zipball/0.9.0-beta

Screenshot attached below.

Our main incentive was the usual client complaints about the Drupal admin interface being stale and clunky, so we've tried to do something that's clean and modern, targeted at semi-novice content editors, and can be customised to be "on brand" with a client's logo and colours. We've also tried to use colours, spacing and font sizes to make it a bit easier to see what's what and where.

If you've got any immediate comments or constructive criticism we'd love to hear them here so we can do some final tweaks before releasing it.

Big thanks to Jack T for his work and ideas on this... and "Polpo" means "Octopus" in Italian if you were wondering - watery, nimble, many arms - some logic there I hope!

Good work. But screen-shot is a tad tiny to see anything.
