I can only attend the planning meeting via Google Hangout. Unfortunately it was on very short notice for me, (for me this was the first notice I got) and I have a conference call (via Skype) till 6:00pm. With the heavy traffic at this time it usually takes about an hour to get to Princeton from the Piscataway area.

Second that, I always want to get to these meetings, but Thursday is no doable for me to get to Princeton. I have really wanted to get more involved in the group and the 2013 camp. Looking forward to joining you all virtually.

Sponsorships, Marketing, and Testing
As mentioned on the call I know of several potential sponsors and I am happy to reach out to them. Additionally, I have run several large conferences and events so I have a lot of experience with marketing, if you want some additional help or ideas. Finally, I have worked on several COD sites and would be happy to help test the dev version.
How Are You Conferencing the Planning Meetng?
It's after 7pm but no one posted a link or phone number to join in via conferencing. I kept hoping something would be posted here. In the future is there a specific place we can all go to so that we don't miss any future announcements?

I posted it in IRC at the start of the meeting.. Main things for the next couple weeks are the website and sponsorship, plus starting to recruit presenters.

I Don't Have IRC Access
Unfortunately I do not have IRC access. So I did not see the message you mention. I had posted somewhere previously in Drupal NJ that I was interested in Logistics and Programming.

Ah, sorry - you should get on IRC, that's often where the real Drupal party is.
As far as logistics, the bulk of that will (I hope) be very easy via being hosted at the University. There will be some work around swag, badges, etc, of course as we get closer.
For program, please start looking for people wiling to submit session proposals. We should be able to start taking those in a week or so. Once we start getting them in, we'll have more to talk about in terms of program. I think we were going to suggest 3 general tracks.

Some follow-up from Jill. She suggested doing Friday training at 701 Carnegie, since during the week both space and parking at Friend center are harder to arrange. They have a large multi-purpose room that can be split in 3 sections.
