Following the post on g.d.o, I have decided to host a sprint in Canberra! We have two potential venues depending on the number of people who wish to attend, both very close to the city, with excellent transport links and food close by.
At present I plan on being available both days but pending potential attendee numbers that may change to just one day. Make your intention to participate known in either my site comment form or on the g.d.o event.
Everyone is welcome; if you have built a site in Drupal, you can contribute. We will split into pairs and work on Drupal core issues. Bring your laptop. If possible, install git before coming and git clone Drupal 8 core. For new folks: you can get a head start also by making an account on Drupal.org and taking a look at the Drupal Ladder.
The code sprint will take place at the Australian Medical Association on both days. Since it's a weekend the building will not be open to the public so attendees will need to call me on 0430365015 to gain entrance.
I'll be present from 9am until late on both days so feel free to drop in and participate whenever
