M/C for meetups
- role of the M/C is to start the meeting, introduce the agenda, handover to speakers etc. that is, a simple, limited role aimed at keeping the meeting flowing in between speakers / activities
- we are aiming to give as many people as are willing experience with this role. we hope to foster a range of people who can M/C a meeting at any given time

Can this role be carried out by the same person(s) who is/are acting as that month's overseer(s)?
I suspect a lot of the roles we penned down can be amalgamated. Yes, no?

I certainly see multiple
I certainly see multiple roles performed by one person - there are too many to be handled individually. I also think that roles should not be assigned to a single person for a significant period of time - ideally it would be for one meetup cycle, then pass it on.
